Scope of Work:
Texas Dewatering (TXD) started the project in May 2019 and completed the project on schedule with a completion date of December 2019. The end goal of the project was to restore the drainage channel to its pre-Hurricane Harvey condition. The project consisted of excavating 50,000 cubic yards of built up sediment inside the channel that was then hauled off the project site to a designated disposal location. 3,000 cubic yards of slope repairs were done, and 15 acres of slope were armored with 17,000 tons of Grade 1 Rip Rap that were then buried with 6” of fill material. To complete this project, we had about 6 pieces of heavy earth moving equipment working effortlessly. We worked 6 days and week, 10 to 12 hours a day. This project had no time loss or any incident.
